Pet Paradise Ormond Beach is located on the corner of Nova Road
and Golf Avenue. The resort sits on about 1 acre of land which
includes all natural play ground area as well as synthetic play
areas for our boarding and daycare guests. The Ormond Beach resort
staff has been trained in K9 CPR and can care for pets that have
special needs. Our management team is ABKA level 2 certified in dog

meet the Manager
Sarah Thorner
When Sarah rescued Molly, a magnificent mix-breed puppy, she
became inspired to change professions and devote her efforts to the
animal-care industry. After a year of working at the Davie
facility, she transferred and joined the St Augustine team as
Assistant Manager, and now has been promoted to Manager of our
Holly Hill facility.
Sarah continues to rescue and devote time and energy to the
humane adoption of animals. She feels especially grateful that she
can offer her 4 "kids" -- Molly (brindle mix), Xander (fawn boxer),
Tristan (standard dachshund) and Brinkley (mini dachshund) - the
same quality daycare, boarding and playtime activities provided to
all animals served by Pet Paradise! Additionally, Sarah eagerly
participates in the growth and development of the company as it
expands into endless possibilities.
meet the Assistant Manager
Caroline Bergkvist
Caroline has been with Pet Paradise since March of 2008. Her
passion for animals developed at a very young age having always
owned pets. She started riding horses when she lived in Sweden and
when the family moved to the states her family took over a horse
farm. There, she trained and would compete the horses in show
jumping, eventing and hunters. Caroline was promoted to Resort
Supervisor in November of 2009 and to Assistant Manager in November
of 2011. Here she is pictured with her dog Chief.
