SafeHouse of Seminole County
Pet Paradise has teamed up with SafeHouse of Seminole County to
provide free temporary boarding services to family pets affected by
domestic violence situations. Often times, women affected by
domestic violence do not leave their abuser for fear of retaliation
on their beloved companion animals. This partnership is a way to
provide a safe haven not only for them, but for their pets as well.

Community Hospice of NorthEast
Flordia
Each year, Pet Paradise sponsors the Community Hospice's pet
therapy program and the calendar. This calendar raises awareness
and funding for the pet therapy program and allows people to
understand the important role that these pets serve, making a
significant difference in the lives of the patients at the
Community Hospice.

Annual Pet Food Drive
Each Fall, Pet Paradise teams up with many local pet food
banks/rescue groups to collect pet food! This pet food not only
directly helps rescue groups in need, but has also provided pet
food directly to struggling pet owners allowing them to keep their
pets. Each year, our food drive gets bigger and better! We have
collected over 36,000 pounds of pet food in the last 3 years!!!
Military Foster Program
We are proud to support military families and their pets by
teaming teaming up with Pedigree® Brand, Winn-Dixie Stores and
local rescue groups in the Foster Military Pets program. The Foster
Military Pets program provides foster homes for the pets of
deployed service members. Pet Paradise participates in the program
by providing boarding services for those pets while the foster
families are on vacation or away on business. You can learn more
about this great program at fostermilitarypets.com.
Pet Hair Collection, Gulf Oil
Spill
In response to the devastating Gulf Oil Spill in 2010, Pet
Paradise collected and shipping pet hair from all 13 locations to
an organization called Matter of Trust. The hairs, along with used
nylon stockings, were made into booms which help soak up spilled
oil. It is estimated that one pound of dog hair can soak up one
quart of oil in one minute.
